GLBFP provides ASH, LBFP and General Linear Blend Frequency Polygon density estimators. It supports pointwise and grid-based estimation, plotting and bandwidth selection.

Distinct release capabilities
The CRAN release provides the density estimators. The development version adds compute_Di(), a leave-one-out diagnostic with a fixed grid and bandwidth. This function is not included in GLBFP 0.5.2 on CRAN.
The preprint by Nicosia, Duchesne and Carbon (2026), A Leave-One-Out Influence Statistic for Density-Based Outlier Detection, studies the single-grid LBFP case. The repository separately documents the software extensions to ASH and GLBFP.
